Small Paws Patrol (SPP) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in connection with the use of our website (www.smallpawspatrol.co.uk), Facebook page (Small Paws Patrol) and other services thereof. This privacy policy and any relevant documents set forth the basis on which any personal information we collect from you or that you provide to us, in connection with the services, will be processed by us. Please read the following to understand our practices regarding your personal information and how we will collect, use and disclose your personal information.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

We may collect the following information:

  • Personal details collected from you, by way of the Enquiry/Booking form, Veterinary Release form and Agreement, at the time of the initial consultation and subsequent changes to said information.

  • SPP does not collect or process credit or debit card information. Transactions are completed by way of transfer from your bank direct to the SPP account, with limited information supplied.

  • Facebook profile information, if you choose to login through Facebook.

CONFIDENTIALITY & SECURITY

  • The security of your personal information, home security information and keys is important to us. 

  • Keys are coded and secured in a Fire Safe Box within a locked filing cupboard. Alarm codes and key codes are kept separately from keys and paperwork.

  • All information is secured in a locked filing cupboard.

  • Any staff members are fully trained and contracted in.

  • We do not provide your personal information to any third party, as defined by applicable law.

  • Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted online; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

ACCESS & DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • Upon request, SPP will enable you to access your personal information, to modify or update at any time.

  • Upon permanent cancellation of services, disposal of all personal information will be executed immediately via a cross-thread shredder and securely deleted from all computer files/back-up facilities.

USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • To provide you with information or services related to SPP.

  • To provide you with promotional communications, to the extent that you have provided consent to receive such communications under applicable law.

  • To provide you with customer service communications.

  • To carry out our obligations arising from the agreement entered into between the client and SPP.

  • To notify you about changes to the services.

  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you have no obligation to respond to them.

  • Details of transactions you carry out through the services and of the fulfilment of your bookings.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose your personal information to third parties as follows:

  • If we are unable to offer assistance, we may disclose your basic information (e.g. name and contact number) for the purposes of a third party contacting you, only after receiving authorisation from the client.

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, we may disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets, with your consent.

  • If SPP or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal information held by us about our customers will be one of the transferred assets.

  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with any legal obligation, such as to comply with a subpoena, bankruptcy proceedings, similar legal process, or in order to enforce or apply our agreements with you; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SPP, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

If you follow a link to any external websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these websites or their policies. SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES

Our social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, may collect your Internet protocol address, which page you are visiting on or Products, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Products. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statement of the company providing it.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on the website/Facebook page prior to the change becoming effective.
